The Florida Life

After we got back from Disney World, we settled into the newlywed life in our new home.
This was the first time that Chris was seeing the Florida apartment, and he just loved it.
The cats were so happy to see him, I don't think that Marshmellow stopped purring for about a week straight and Abby refused to lay anywhere except on top of Chris for a couple straight days days.
I was so happy to see our little family back together, it is such an amazing feeling.
They may only be animals but I can definitely tell that they knew their daddy was finally home and the missing piece to the puzzle was home.
And me, well I was just so happy to have him back that multiple people at work told me that I just glowed with happiness.
And it was true, I was so incredibly happy to have him back and finally be living the newlywed life.
It was so nice to have someone to greet me when I came home from work and to hang out with at night time.
It was nice to have date nights again.
It was nice to have my husband back.
But as quick as we got used to being back together, he left to go back to West Virginia to make up the drills he missed while he was deployed.
So that kind of stinks.
Another 5 weeks apart.
We've spent majority of the first year of our marriage apart.
But, as we come up on our anniversary, I can happily say that we have grown in our marriage.
We have such a happy marriage.
We have survived a lot in our relationship and we've done it with such grace that I can't help but be proud of ourselves.
Our relationship hasn't gotten worse the more time we've spent apart but it's gotten stronger and our communication has gotten better.
I feel like we have such an amazing relationship and it will only continue to grow as the years go by.
I'm truly lucky to be married to my best friend.
